Slow-Motion Watermelon Explosion Will Burst Your Brain

There’s something mindlessly simple and endlessly entertaining about watching something — anything — filmed in slow motion.

So when YouTube stars The Slow Mo Guys released video of a watermelon explosion, shot at 2,500 frames per second, we couldn’t help but pay attention.

For this clip, Gavin Free and Dan Gruchy use a firework to blow up a small watermelon they had originally used for this failed video experiment.
